The 2017 Writivism Prize Shortlists Announced

Writivism has announced its shortlists for the 2017 Writivism Short Story Prize and Koffi Addo Non-fiction prizes. The panel of judges for this year’s short story competition included Sumayya Lee, Haruna Ayesha Attah, Emmanuel Sigauke, Edwige Dro and was chaired by Helon Habila. The Koffi Addo Prize for Creative Nonfiction was judged by E. C. Osondu, Angela Kintu, and Panashe Chigumadzi.
Five writers have been shortlisted for the Short Story Prize and three for the Koffi Addo Non-Fiction prize. The five shortlisted short stories will be published on Munyori Literary Journal. The three shortlisted nonfiction stories will be published on Enkare Review.

“Meat Bomb” by Charles King (South Africa)
