About the author
Fiona Khan is an award winning, internationally published poet and author, and academic. She is also passionate as an environmentalist and family therapist. Her time includes motivational speaking, coaching and mentoring. Transforming the lives of both children and adults into positive achievers, is her forte. She has been promoting reading and literacy since 1993 at schools, universities and libraries via the Ethekwini Municipal Libraries. She is a community practitioner and an outspoken activist on gender equality and rights, HIV/Aids and gender based violence. Khan has numerous children’s book titles to her name and her poetry and short stories have been published internationally in many literary magazines.Her books have been used for academic research and are placed in many academic libraries.
