Pomes Penyeach Seeks Submissions of Poetry for Pamphlet

Pomes Penyeach is calling for poetry submissions for its literary pamphlet. Preference will be given to poems that show an interest in the form, music and craft of poetry.

Pomes Penyeach, named after Joyce’s first collection of poetry, is a small and informal literary pamphlet. Its mandate is to encourage an interest in poetry and its craft. We are particularly interested in new poetry that engages with form in one way or another, whether through adherence to meter or by experimenting with traditional verse forms. The pamphlet will feature a dozen poems and an extra “tilly” in the form of a poem or short prose piece, which is meant to correspond to the first poem in Joyce’s collection.
