This is the story of a teenage girl living in a fictitious Boland village who is trying to come to terms with an adult world full of hypocrisy and lies. Her path to the truth is not made easier by the dark secret she herself hides. Struggling to “capture the light” as a budding watercolour artist, she will only be able to do so when she confronts the darkness within herself.
