2015 Media24 Books Literary Awards Shortlists

Five PEN SA members have been shortlisted for the 2015 Media24 Books Literary Awards, which were announced on May 19th. Michiel Heyns and Zakes Mda were shortlisted for the Herman Charles Bosman Prize for English Fiction for A Sportful Malice and Rachel’s Blue respectively. Shortlisted for the Recht Malan Prize for Afrikaans and English Non-fiction are Edwin Cameron for Justice and Mark Gevisser for Lost and Found in Johannesburg. Charl-Pierre Naudé has been shortlisted for the Elisabeth Eybers Prize for Afrikaans and English Poetry for Al die lieflike dade. The winners will be announced on 5 June.
