The 2018 Short Story Day Africa Prize, Hotel Africa, is Open for Entries

Submissions are open for the 2018 Short Story Day Africa Prize, which this year has the theme “Hotel Africa”. The first prize is US$800, and is open to writers from Africa and its diaspora.
In 2018, Short Story Day Africa is seeking innovative short fiction set in the rooms, the passages, the bars and the lobbies of hotels across the continent, as well as metafiction exploring Africa as a hotel herself.If these walls could talk, what story would they tell?
Previous winners and runners up for the SSDA Prize include PEN SA members Megan Ross and Diane Awerbuck.
