Submissions Invited for “Poetry in McGregor” 2017

McGregor Poetry Festival is inviting the submission of proposals from poets wishing to participate in their “Poetry in McGregor” event, which is being held from the 25 to 27 August 2017. The theme for this year is “Rooted in heart” and presentations in line with the theme will be given first consideration:

We encourage submissions that are innovative and creative (involving more than one art form) to enhance our programme and attract a diverse audience. You are more than welcome to collaborate with fellow poets and submit a proposal for a combined performance, discussion or interview. The duration of your presentation should be between 40 and 50 minutes. You will be allocated one slot initially but if there is space permitting on the programme, you may be offered a second slot for a different or repeat presentation.

Proposals for workshops are also welcome. Workshops are 2 hours in duration and can accommodate between 8 to 15 participants.
