“A genuflecting ocean, shadows of palm fronds on the deck, a rich sizzle of frying mushrooms
and one leggy hound, no longer lost, spread out on the carpet in a jacuzzi of sunlight.”
(“A Handful of Small Stones for Bromley”)
Small Stones for Bromley is Harry Owen’s sixth full collection of poetry, following Non-Dog in 2010 and Worthy: poems for my father in 2011.
Most recently he has edited the international anthology For Rhino in a Shrinking World, all proceeds from which go toward the conservation work of the Chipembere Rhino Foundation.
