  • Siphiwo Mahala’s The House of Truth showing at Theatre on the Square

    PEN SA member Siphiwo Mahala’s play The House of Truth (also available in book form) will be showing at Theatre on the Square. The play is directed by Vanessa Cook and stars Sello Maake Ncube.

  • 6th Africa Century International African Writers Conference
    Where: Bamboo Lecture Hall, Kgorong Building, Meckleneuk Campus UNISA, Pretoria Tshwane
    When: Tuesday 7 November 2017
    The theme of the 6th Africa Century International African Writers Conference is “The Writer as a Drum Major of Conscience, Restoration & Transformation And The Establishment of the South African Writers Organisation”. The speakers include Professor Andries Oliphant, Professor Nhlanhla Maake and Professor Zodwa Motsa. The winners of the 2017 South African Literary Awards will be announced at the conference.
