Mindful Writing Retreat with Anton Krueger

PEN SA member Anton Krueger will be presenting a “Mindful Writing” retreat, Writing the World into Being, along with novelist Jason Donald. The retreat is being held at the Tara Rokpa Centre in the Groot Marico District from Friday 7 April to Wednesday 12 April 2017, with an option to go for two nights and leave on the Sunday.

The rates range from R1100 to R5 500 depending on the length of the retreat and the type of accommodation. The rates include all meals, refreshments and teachings.

The retreat will be kept small with a maximum of 15 participants so that there is enough time to focus on each person’s individual work in group feedback sessions. Those joining for the longer retreat of 5 nights will also receive a one-on-one session of 30-60 minutes for feedback on a work in progress of up to 10 000 words. Writers who have an existing project as well as those just starting out are equally welcome. No previous experience required.
