Janet van Eeden to Speak at 2018 London Screenwriters’ Festival

PEN SA member Janet van Eeden, who currently works as the Head of Post Graduate Studies at AFDA Durban’s Film, Television and Performance School, will be speaking in September at the 2018 London Screenwriters’ Festival.

The LSF is one of the world’s largest gatherings of screenwriters, and will feature many industry heavy-hitters, including screenwriters for and creators of Downton Abbey, Starship Troopers, and Eastenders.

The London Screenwriters’ Festival is an annual three day conference for screenwriters. In 2018, the LSF will be held at Regents University in Regents Park, from the 7th to 9th of September. For the three days, over 1,000 screenwriters, filmmakers, producers, practitioners, actors and executives congregate to share ideas, build powerful relationships, hear pitches and get a creative shot in the arm. During the three days of the festival there are around 130 structured seminars, lessons and workshops [as well as] The British Screenwriters’ Awards.

Van Eeden’s speaker page for the Festival may be found here, and more information about the Festival itself at its website.
